Just curious what you all like to use as a resource pack, if any.
I personally use the Unity one. It blends nice into the normal Minecraft textures and makes IC2 look "acceptable" lol
Currently using Soartex. It looks nice and has most of the mods covered.
I like Soartex too. A lot of people use either Soartex or Sphax. I think it's like asking people if they like Live Action movies or Cartoons lol. I personally don't really like Sphax since it's "too" cartoonified if that makes sense?
Yeah I feel you... I never even considered Sphax cause of its cartoony look. In my opinion it actually makes the game look ugly.
The problem with modded Minecraft is, there's not many resource packs that cover the majority of the mods... I used to use Faithful modded, but that got boring real quick cause it's just plain old Minecraft textures with a few more pixels..
I'm personally using a Shader and resource pack together right now and it looks pretty good.
I'm kind of afraid throwing Shaders on top of a bunch of mods might break my computer. I might try it one day, but for now I'm sticking with a resource pack only.
Yep I agree. Shaders are eye candy but the price you have to pay performance-wise is just not worth it if you don't have a really good computer.
Faithful modded ftw lol
I like Faithful; its Minecraft textures but 300x smoother making it look much better.
Does it support modded minecraft textures? if so do they have it for 1.10.2?
It supports a few mods like IC2, Chisel, Forestry, Iron Chests and Tinkers', but note that Mekanism, RotaryCraft and EnderIO have textures made by the creator of the texture pack so they blend in by default as well.
It does support modded textures, but not a lot of mods are covered.
Here's a list of the 1.10.2 mods it supports:
-Chisels & Bits
-Tinkers' Construct (Not including tools)
-Hardcore Questing Mode
-Chisel(Wood blocks only)
You just copied the mods from it's Curse page D:
I did indeed.
I second Soartex, but I also like the minimalism of PaperCraft (edit: called Paper Cut-Out) ^^
I have never heared of this one! I'll take a look at it later!
