Quick question is the lava at build limit set to be un clear-able? I went to limit and tried placing cobble stone to clear some away so I can use solar but was unable to place any blocks; they would disappear as soon as placed and lava remained.

    Thanks

I’m pretty certain that anything solar can work through the lava. You would just need to block the lava from flowing into your base with signs.

You can clear the lava up there, but you can't place blocks above the build limit, not sure if the methods are banned or not, but you could use things like the buildcraft pump, or other items that drain fluids, that or get some fire resistance and some buckets and get to work.

I flew up through the lava and tried to place blocks to remove the lava but it didn't work, I did this in sp and worked fine.
