We are looking into this, provide us with as much information as you can about your claim configuration and work with a staff member in-game to try and make a reproachable situation that causes this.

We are still unsure as to what causes this to happen with AE2. We're trying to figure it out, but until then I guess the only thing we can do is keep refunding the systems. Can you make a list of all the things you need refunded so a staff member can leave the stuff at your base if you're not online, rather than having to wait for you to come on to resolve the problem.
EDIT: Looks like Shadow knew it was a Sponge related issue. I was not aware of that at the time of writing that ^.

I'm curious about what the interaction is, is between Sponge and AE2 specifically? Or one of the Sponge plugins getting in the way of AE2?

AE2 and Sponge have always been two clashing mods. I am not 100% sure why exactly, but it seems like it's mainly AE's fault because, as you can see, Sponge Devs at least seem to try to fix compatibility issues asap, compared to AE which gets like only one update every few months and just as buggy as before afterwards

This issue was not specific to AE2 but was the most noticeable failure of an optimisation that was back-ported from 1.12, the Sponge devs saw no harm in back-porting this patch to 1.10.2 as it has significant performance benefits.

Unfortunately it wasn't till after people began updating the flaw was realised and since we had updated other plugins that were now dependant on a newer Sponge version we could not downgrade.

Today they moved this back-port into a optimisation that is disabled by default and it seems to have worked as people are no longer experiencing this issue. If you have lost items you can contact a staff member here or in-game with a list of items so they can reimburse you.

Cool! Glad a fix came out and the servers got updated. Thank you for explaining the problem. I hadn't lost anything, other than unable to figure out where I've put things...:)
